Liberec – Slovan concluded a busy week with a home fixture. After a win in Zlín and a cup victory over Přepeře, Branislav Fodrek’s side faced another league match. This time, Hradec Králové travelled to Stadion U Nisy. The match got off to a positive start for the hosts, who had a numerical advantage from the sixth minute onwards. Hradec’s Čech was shown a red card, leaving his side with ten men. Liberec’s pressure finally paid off in the 42nd minute, when Lukáš Mašek opened the scoring. Aziz Kayondo also found the net after the break, sealing a 2–0 victory for Slovan.**
